Description
This is a family heirloom that was purchased outside of Monterey Mexico roughly one hundred years ago. It was hand woven of wool with a beautiful bold floral center bordered by an intricate floral patterned border distinct from the more common striped serapes or Saltillo blankets. The colors are as vibrant as the day the wool was dyed. The blanket is in EXCELLENT condition with no tears, rips or even holes from moths. There are some of the white tassled fringe strands missing.
The blanket is displayed on a queen sized bed.
