Hosley started as a wholesale decor importer based in the Chicago suburbs during the late 20th century. They specialized in heavy, substantial accent pieces. This specific line utilizes a textured ceramic body with an antiqued sgraffito pattern reminiscent of the rustic, hand-carved look of traditional European or Mediterranean folk art pottery.
The ceramic ewers is paired with curved iron elements to lean into a heavy, “farmhouse cottagecore” or Mediterranean aesthetic, also fitting Tuscan, Rustic Farmhouse, Boho, Folk Art, and Sgraffito.
