I grew up in the 1980’s. I never thought at the time that the decade of my childhood would one day be considered vintage or “art deco.” Go figure. Wish I would have held on to those old pieces of artwork that hung on the walls. Shoot, thinking of it, why did I have to blow up my first generation Optimus Prime? What was wrong with me?!
But here we are and the ’80 are not 40-some-odd years old now and the images of that time are back in. So you know what? Maybe you would LOVE to decorate your pad in some of that oldies goodness. Or maybe you have a Venue in which this would look great around a couple leather style sofas. Either way, this mirrored art and etched glass might just be for you. While you’re looking these images over maybe you wouldn’t mind considering watching some reruns of ALF. AAAAAH, WHY DID I DESTROY MY ALF T-SHIRT?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!
Also, don’t break them. Not because it brings you bad luck but because you will have a heck of a time finding any more of these same retro pieces any time soon!
Everything is right about these pieces. They have the color. They have the style. They have the jazz. You know who else loved “the jazz” in the ’80’s? Hannibal on the A-Team. Mr. T. (B.A. Baracus) always used to say “He’s all about that jazz.”
