Royal Copenhagen Denmark Porcelain Fine China Teacup & Saucer “Blue Flower” (Blå Blomst) pattern

$28.00

Description

This Royal Copenhagen porcelain teacup and saucer set features the “Blue Flower” (Blå Blomst) pattern with a delicate floral design on a curved, braided edge. Both pieces are in excellent condition.

Look closely at the green stamped text. There is a small line located under the letter ‘G’ in the word COPENHAGEN. According to the Royal Copenhagen Official Dating Guide, a line placed under the ‘G’ indicates the exact production year of 1968.

The hand-painted fraction 10/1546 denotes the specific pattern and shape style. The number 10 is the pattern code for Blue Flower (Blå Blomst), and 1546 designates the Curved & Braided Demitasse Coffee Cup style.

Because the classic three blue wavy lines (representing Denmark’s primary waterways) do not have any vertical or horizontal scratch marks slashing through them, this is classified as a First Quality piece.

The blue hand-painted letters XF serve as the unique personal signature belonging to the specific artisan who decorated your piece.
