Description
Produced by the famous Reinhold Schlegelmilch factory in Tillowitz, Germany (a historic region in Silesia, which is now modern-day Tułowice, Poland). This specific blue wreath mark with the text “Tillowitz Silesia” underneath was utilized between 1916 and 1945. The cursive “Handpainted” script under the stamp indicates it was hand-decorated, a popular aesthetic feature during the 1920s to 1930s Art Deco era making this just around 100 years old!
It is in excellent condition, especially being that it has a century worth of stories it could tell.
