Description
This is a Mercedes shifter know utilizes a push-and-twist style mechanism used primarily from 1996 to 2005. The black textured collar at the base twists left to unlock, slides down to expose the internal clips, pushes onto the shifter rod, and twists right to lock it solid. The hollow core matches a D-shaped or grooved shifter rod typical of Mercedes vehicles from this generation.
It is compatible with:
M-Class (W163): 1998–2005 (ML320, ML350, ML430, ML500, ML55 AMG)
E-Class (W210): 1996–2002 (E320, E430, E55 AMG)
C-Class (W202): 1994–2000 (C220, C230, C280, C43 AMG)
CLK-Class (W208): 1998–2003 (CLK320, CLK430, CLK55 AMG)
This specific mechanical mounting shaft also fits other models of the same era, including the S-Class (W140/W220), SL-Class (R129), and CL-Class (C140/W215) but could have a slight color/shade mismatch.
