Sure, they soil their own water, peck out each other’s feathers, often practice violently reproductive methods, and will eat each other once one dies. But galdang, we still love ’em! Whether it be with the Colonol’s secret recipe and mix of spices, or just watching them wander around the yard picking at bugs, chickens hold a special place in our hearts and are emblematic of that feeling of being out in the country, whether Provincial France or central Italy or maybe even right here in your backyard.
