Description
Matelassé is a textured fabric with a quilt-like raised pattern inspired by French design. This blanket exemplifies that structure and design, and has been an ambassador to that artform since the 1950s when it was created. It is for a king sized bed displayed for the photos here on a queen. It is in excellent condition with no holes or rips or tears and only one small little spot as shown in a photo. This is a well-preserved example of fine bedrooms of yesteryear, and 70+ years later, it wants to exemplify the same in your sleeping quarters.
