This BEAUTIFUL Handled Dessert Platter is from Rosenthal-Continental. It is the Glenbrook pattern. This is a custom pattern through them in which, upon ordering, it was made from the 13” Chop Platter (Round Platter) where a hold metal alloy center handle was added for convenience when passing around a table for serving pastries or sandwiches
It is GORGEOUS with its cream-colored porcelain body with a delicate floral pattern, basket-weave detailing and gold rim accent. Rosenthal starting producing this pattern around 1936.
It’s condition is as good as the day it was manufactured in Selb and Marktredwitz, located in the Bavaria region of Germany. The brand has maintained a rich cultural heritage since the late 19th century.
