Description
This piece was manufactured by Crown Staffordshire Porcelain Co Ltd at the Minerva Works in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. It is decorated with a scattered floral pattern of roses, pansies, and forget-me-nots on a white background and finished with a delicate gold trim along the scalloped edge.
The “Fine Bone China” text: Crown Staffordshire introduced the specific wording “Fine Bone China” above the crown logo starting in the 1930s.
The lack of “Made In”: The mark says “England” rather than “Made in England”. While “Made in England” became the factory standard later in the mid-20th century, this transition variation narrows the timeframe heavily to the 1930s–1950s era.
